How to Add Multiple Users to Google Chrome

Google Chrome provides the option to add multiple Chrome users.  Essentially, what adding a user does is create an empty Chrome browser with default settings.  Such a feature is useful for family computers or people who want to separate work settings from personal browser settings, bookmarks, autofill data, passwords, etc.

To add a new user type chrome://settings in the address bar and hit enter.

Scroll down to the "Users" section and click the "Add new user..." button

Simply select an icon and enter the name for the user.  If the user is a child, or may need supervision for another reason, there is an option to make the user a "supervised user."  This allows the supervisor to restrict access to the web and view the users web history.

Once the user is created, you can switch between users by clicking the user icon on the top left of any Google Chrome window.
